Au pair requirements

  • You are 18 to 26 years old.
  • You have at least a B1 level of English.
  • You have never been married and have no children.
  • You want to stay in the US for a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months.

Host family requirements

  • You have at least one child under the age of 18.
  • You are a US citizen or legal permanent resident.
  • You are fluent in spoken English.
  • You have a private bedroom in your home for the au pair to live in for at least 12 months.
  • You have sufficient income to finance your au pair’s stay.
