Hello! My daughter and I are looking forward to welcoming our Au Pair into our family! We offer a happy, friendly family environment.
Elara is 2 years old, she is a happy outgoing girl who is currently into everything! Some of her favourite things to do include hanging out with other children, soft play, playing with her toy kitchen and being read too. I am obviously biased but I do believe I’ve been blessed; she’s a lovely little girl who also happens to be an excellent sleeper and eats everything which makes her a joy to live with!
I am a solo parent (I conceived Elara with the help of a donor); so you would be living with just me and Elara. My aunt and parents are frequent guests and one of other of them usually stays the night every other week. We have lovely friendly neighbours and many friends who we've made though nursery or baby groups (so they have children of similar age to Elara).
We live in a lovely friendly market town called Chesham in Buckinghamshire; we are 25 miles North West of London City Centre and is considered within the London commuter belt; It will take about 90 minutes to get into central London on public transport.
Chesham and the surrounding area has many community events that we try to go to and Elara goes to various baby groups; we sometimes go swimming and to nearby farms and activity centres.
I have just set up as a self employed IT Trainer (usually I work from my home office); As I am new to being Self Employed I don't know how much work I will get. I am planning to have one weekday a week with Elara (although if I get offered work I would have to take it) and she will be at nursery 1 day a week.
I am looking for someone who can be very flexible; as I will need you to work different hours week by week - however, you will always have at least a weeks advance notice of the hours you are expected to work.
In terms of my hobbies I love cinema and travel (although not doing much travel at the moment!); I'm hoping I can get back to some other hobbies (sports) etc once you are here!
We have a youthful friendly relaxed atmosphere in the house. Ellie has a routine but we are flexible.
