About this family
We are originally from South Africa, and moved to the UK 6 years ago. Although we haven't hosted an au pair before, we have had siblings and friends live with us on and off over the years, and we like to think that we have a very welcoming home.
Eleanor is our first daughter and she is a lovely but busy young lady! We both have relatively busy careers, although we do both have some flexibility to work from home, so we are often on hand. We are looking forward to welcoming someone into our home who is enthusiastic and kind.
We live in Bedfordshire but both commute into London regularly. The town of Harpenden is nearby, and has good shopping/food/pubs as well as lovely parks and woodland for walks.
