Our babysitters decide their hourly pay themselves. This is higher when they have more experience or are a little bit older. It depends on which country you’re from, but on average, the hourly pay is between 8–16 euros. If the kids are sleeping, you can usually subtract 2 euros per hour.

Screening your babysitter is super important, as taking care of children is a huge responsibility! This is how we screen our babysitters:

1. Strict age limit – We only welcome babysitters who are over 16 years old, so we can be sure that they are mature and responsible enough to take good care of the little ones 🌷
2. References – Each babysitter who registers with us must provide a good reference. In this way, we can be sure that our babysitters are reliable and experienced 💕
3. Personal screening – As soon as a babysitter is matched with a family, our Customer Care team will contact the babysitter. Then, we will go through everything and perform an additional check 🌈
4. Parent reviews – After each booking, we ask the parents to share their experience with the babysitter with us, so that each babysitter gets multiple reliable reviews on her profile. This way, parents can read each other’s experiences before they meet their new babysitter, and we ensure that Nina.care always provides the best childcare! 🌻

You can pay your sitter easily by using our app or site. The hours of your request will automatically be sent to your babysitter, she can adjust these if necessary and then send them to you. If you agree with the hours, the sitter is automatically paid by using your bank account. Easy!

Of course it can happen that you need to cancel your booking, no worries. We don’t charge for cancelling a booking. Just remove your booking and you’re good!

The membership is twofold. You pay for the service we offer: recruiting and screening babysitters. Secondly, we also make sure that you are insured. Does your babysitter lose the house key? Does she accidentally break a lamp? Is there a scratch on the car? Then you are insured.
